Congrats to two photographers.
20th Sep 07Wanted to say congrats via my site to my two very good friends Ian Flindt and Jon Gibbs. Ian received a highly commended award and Jon won the Landscape photographer of the year award sponsored by the Times and the AA. Jon wins 10 grand, which will be very useful no doubt!
I entered but was not shortlisted which I feel was very short sighted of the judging panel ;) Never mind, there is always next year.
Jon and Ian are part of The Painting with Light Society (see the link) that I formed last year, exhibiting throughout East Anglia. They are both really quiet and modest about their talents but the images are stunning.
