'The 3 Sisters'

This image will stay with me for some time. I went to Scotland for 3 days photography and was met by the usual Scottish weather.I lost count of the hours I spent in the car looking out at the sky. Day three saw the hour before dawn relatively clear (at least it wasnt raining) so myself and my companion decided to go and 'do sunrise'. By the time we left the B&B it was hailing. We pressed on and after braving the elements I got myself into position for whatever dawn would bring. I was rewarded with one of the most beautiful sights I have had the pleasure to witness. The magnificent 3 sisters in the Glencoe valley, lit up by a morning sun yet covered in a light sprinkling of snow. I suspect that this will remain a favourite for some years to come
