'Rannoch Moor'

Rannoch Moor has been photographed by some illustrious photographers in its time. On our way back to Glasgow airport we were greeted with a snow blizzard. I had to stop and have a look at this place and as I pulled up the snow eased. Encouraged I grabbed the camera, covered with its very own carrier bag, and headed out. It appears that they have been felling trees on this part of the moor which gave it the feel of a war zone. I was blessed with 2 minutes of sunshine which I captured as it crossed the moor. You can see the snow showers to the left and right of this image and I was caught in it seconds later. It didnt lift again until I got to the airport. Landscapes can be very hard work and also involve a bit of luck!
