'Sunrise, pier and moon'

Taken at Clacton just before sunrise on a day that really felt like spring. It was also my wifes birthday. Not a pier that has been photographed very much but I like the colours of it. It is very wide in comparison to Southwold pier, which I know well. Underneath the pier is a fascinating mangle of old groynes, concrete posts and pipes.I am working on a panoramic of that area but for now it remains a work in progress.
