From the first evening at the causeway. Loved the power and ruggedness of the sea. To do this justice I had to get close to the incoming tide which had its scary moments! The rocks, as everywhere on any coast, were very slippery. In these conditions a top quality pair of walking boots and waterproof coat were a must and I was thankful I had both.
